Exploretography Phoenix Zoo and Breakfast

The AZ group started the day with a hot breakfast and good conversation. After our bellies were full and our coffee had got our motors running, we took of to the Phoenix Zoo for a walk-about. Although the images are not in in the wild, the beauty the animals provide is still amazing. In this version of a poor persons safari, we talked for a few hours, getting to know the residents of the zoo. It was such a pleasure to photograph them with my 500mm F/4. With such a focal length, it allowed a personal look into each animals life. I am mostly fond of getting in and being able to see the personalities in their eyes.

Please enjoy the images from the day and comment on which is your favorite.
