Tempe Center for the Arts is a performing and visual arts center along the Tempe Town Lake. At first, it may not sound like an obvious place for portraits, but the modern architecture and location of the 17 acre park where it is situated makes for pretty amazing backdrops. They have fantastic galleries and performances, so if you have time to visit inside while you are around photographing it is highly recommended. Nearby we enjoy the food and drinks at Culinary Dropout and Barrio Queen. As always we want to remind you of the importance of respecting all these locations and. It's up to us as a community to set an example. If we don't clean up after ourselves or act disrespectful we are going to lose accessibility to so many places. Please do your best to leave no trace behind and respect each other as fellow photographers and explorers as we share these spaces.
